Currently munching on a few pieces of pomelo. If you like grapefruit, you’ll most likely like pomelo. It looks like a pale green larger version of a grapefruit, but a little sweeter in taste and the pulps are larger too. My mom takes the skin of the fruit and dries it. I’m not sure what she uses it for. I’ll need to ask her later in the week. I’m thinking of adding the pomelo pulps into an orzo salad for dinner tonight.







Where does one find the pomelos? I live in Florida and I found them at a local supermarket like 2 years ago. I have not been able to find then since then!
You can usually find it in Asian grocery store, but I have seen it before at my local Whole Foods and farmer’s market.
