My blog is finally getting a face lift and I’ve decided it’s time to move from Blogger to Wordpress. I was very happy with Blogger for a while, but after a year into the relationship, I began to strayed. I developed a wandering eye and was soon charmed by Wordpress and all its fancy features. So, please bear with me as I’m making the switch. There might be times when the blog is acting coo-coo, but I’m working hard on trying to get the blog up and running as fast as I can. Oh…and I have not forgotten about my post on my trip to China. Once the blog’s face lift is complete, that will be my very first post!

 I never intended my bon voyage post was going to be like this. I’m off to China for a month! For the past month I thought I was leaving on the 10th of August. When I woke up this morning and talked to my dad he kindly inform me that my ass got the departure date wrong. Yes, I’ll be leaving on the 10th, as in boarding the plane at midnight August 10th!  Yes, I haven’t posted in a month and the first post I make is via the iPhone.  This little doodle explains it all. October has not been a good cooking month. I have a list of things to do and cooking is defitnely on top, but finding the actual time to do it has been a challenge. November will be better. Can’t forget about Thanksgiving now! Today I present Pu Pu Platter. A post listing whatever interesting news I happen to stumble upon on the web and in my RSS feed that is food related, and a totally random picture I took. Don’t know what a Pu Pu Platter is? It’s a dish mostly found in America Chinese establishments that consist of a variety of appetizer samplers.  What a productive Sunday! Made the header wider and added a little info about me. Replace the RSS button (please remember to subscribe!) and the Flickr widget. Added a list of my favorite food blogs and changed the design of the left sidebar. Need to add a few more things, but it’s getting close! Waiting for it to get crisp and golden brown now. I apologize for the quiet month July had been on the blog. Since my trip from Montreal, I've been dealing w/ some personal issues. Look out for new posts soon.

I was going do a proper post on these cute little lemonade cupcakes I made last weekend, but something came up and now I find myself flipping through the pages of the April issue of Saveur trying to hunt down places to eat in San Francisco and Seattle. Yup, I’m off to the Emerald City and San Fran (I can’t think of any nicknames for the city off the top of my head).
